Hi lovelies,

Today I have swatches of Zoya's 2012 spring collections: True and Fleck Effect.
I am so excited to share these swatches with you guys and I hope you find it helpful! :)

Zoya True Collection: described as "A fresh bloom of dewy color. Inspired by the runway looks of top designersthis collection features slightly muted and unexpected spring shades in six easy to wear, full-coverage creams and metallics."
- Definitely a twist to the classic bright colors you'd see for spring, I am really loving the muted tones in this collection.

Bevin: a pale sage green creme (has a muted look to it, one of my favorites!)

Cho: a beige color with very fine silver shimmers, I thought I wouldn't like this, but once it was on my nails, I liked it! The shimmer is very subtle but it's a nice touch.

Farah: beige creme, looks really similar to Cho, but without the shimmers.

Lotus: greyish purple with fine magenta shimmers, love this one! The magenta shimmers give dimension to the pretty purple polish. Another one of my favorites in this collection.

Tru: purple, has more of a magenta tone in it with reddish golden shimmers. This one is super pretty- love! The shimmers are more noticeable in Tru than in Lotus.

Bevin: Greyish Blue with tons of silver shimmers, really pretty!

Overall, I really enjoyed the True collection, the formula was really easy to work with, one or two coats will be opaque enough.

Next... we have the Fleck Effect Collection! What can I say.. I LOVE my flakies! Flakie polishes are just so pretty and glittery and everything good.. well except for the removal...
I am so glad Zoya came out with these flakie polishes because they are different from the usual flakies such as Sally hansen hidden treasure or essie's shine of the times. (comparisons below)

With these polishes, you could wear it alone, but I think it looks so much better and vibrant when worn layered over another polish.

Chloe: pink jelly polish with green and gold mylar flakes

Maisie: blue jelly polish with green mylar flakes

-I didn't swatch Opal, which is a green jelly with green flakes because it looks basically the same on as Maisie (the green tint isn't too noticeable, but may change the tone of some polishes if you're layering it)

-Opal and Maisie both have the same colored flecks, and the flakes change from green/blue, I really like it!
- Chloe looks similar to Essie shine of the times, but has some small green flakes too, which is unique, I like how the green gives it even more dimension and color(shine of the times only has golden flakes). The golden flakes change from magenta/orange/gold/green.

Overall, I really enjoyed the fleck effect collection as well, I would say you don't need both opal and maisie, just choose one depending on if you like green or blue polishes more.

New Hair Color! Loreal Feria Chocolate Cherry

Hey loves,
First of all, I would like to say Happy new years! Thank you guys so much for your support and love in 2011. I look forward to more videos and more blog posts in 2012 :)

Since it was going to be a new year, I decided it was time for new hair! My roots were growing out, and I was eager to dye my hair. I wanted to go darker this time, my hair has been light brown for a couple years now and I wanted to go back to a darker color, so I won't have to keep dying my hair over and over.
Red is such a hot color for hair lately, and I just love the way it looks, so I decided to go for a deep red color. I also wanted a hint of purple in it, because I like how it looks reddish purplish.
I wasn't sure what color to get from the drugstore, knowing the colors don't always come out like the box.
Finally, I chose Loreal Feria Hair color in Chocolate Cherry 36 / Deep Burgundy Brown.
The color on the box looked gorgeous- just the color I wanted.

After coloring my hair.. here are the results:

Before:

My hair was a light brown, and my roots..eek. I like the color, but it was just time for a change :)

After:

A deep red. I love it! It is almost exactly what I wanted. It looks quite dark, almost black with a tint of red in indoor lighting, but when you go outside BAM! Its an intense red color. Pretty crazy.. but I really like it! If you're wanting a subtle red.. you might not want this color, because in the sun, its pretty red. But I love how it looks subtle indoors, and in the sun it looks super vibrant.
I really hope this color does not fade a lot, because I don't want my hair to fade to a light red/ brown, since my purpose of going dark was so that I wont have to re-dye my hair once my roots grow out.
* A tiny review on the hair dye, when dying my hair at home, the ammonia smell is REALLY strong. So make sure your windows are open. Also, I feel like a lot of my hair came out when washing my hair after I dyed it (more hairs than usual), so the chemicals are pretty strong.
I love the color a lot, but I really wish there wasn't as many harmful chemicals in there. Not sure if I would buy it again, but with a color so pretty, I just might.

Review: Maybelline Baby Lips and Lots of Lashes

Today I have a couple of new products and swatches to share with you! I got to try out the Maybelline Babylips lip balm and their lots of lashes mascara through bzzagent.com. It's a website where people have the chance to review new products and give their honest opinion about it. Everyone can join :)

Anyways, back to the review. Lets start with the Babylips lipbalm.
It has SPF 20, which to me is a major plus because I am always concerned about protecting my lips from sun damage. But I love that it also has a tint to it so that I can protect my lips while giving my lips some fun color! When applied to the lips, you can apply one layer for a really sheer tint, or apply multiple layers (its quite buildable) so that the tint is more obvious. What I like about applying multiple layers is that it makes your lips look shiny, almost like you're wearing a lip gloss (you'll see that it's shiny in my swatches). I love how pigmented these lip balms can be. Of course they won't be as pigmented as lipsticks, but it can give your lips a pretty red or hot pink tint, depending on the color of the lip balm. These lipbalms last about 1-2hours on my lips which I think is pretty average. However, I feel that when it wears off, my lips don't feel super moisturized, I actually like wearing my Jack Black lip balm first, and then applying these babylip lipbalms over it (to give my lips extra moisture-because they need it! and also sometimes the corners of my lips get dry and I can't really put tinted lip balm there or else I'd look a bit crazy.)
Overall, I liked these lip balms and I think they're really fun!

Here are the swatches (when I swatched it on my hand, I swiped it back and forth a couple of times, so its more pigmented):

Cherry me smells just like cherry popsicles. On the lips, its not a true red, but more of a reddish pink. These lip balms are sheer, but do give you color.

Kind of smells like strawberry candy. Gives a great hot pink lips look.

Smells like peach candy ish. This one actually has some shimmers in it, which I'm not too big of a fan of. It does give a good nude lip look though. Perfect for pairing with your favorite smokey eye look!

Next up, we have the Maybelline Lots of lashes mascara. What's unique about this mascara is the brush. Its a smaller, kind of triangular shaped brush that is supposed to be able to reach every lash. I do find this brush a little easier to use because it is smaller than usual, but not extremely more easy than other mascaras I've used. Applying mascara to me is still difficult..and I can never apply mascara without getting it on my eyelid...grrr. The formula is pretty wet, but not too wet, which is nice. However, after a couple of coats, it can start looking clumpy. Overall, I think this mascara is average. My lashes are short, stubby, and sparse unfortunately, so it takes a LOT for me to LOVE a mascara. In order for me to love a mascara, it must be extremely volumizing, somewhat lengthening, and somewhat defining, with not too much clumping. So maybe I just have very high standards. For someone who already has long lush lashes, you might really like this mascara. It does volumize and define my lashes, but it is not anything spectacular or to rave about. It doesn't flake or smudge on me. Overall, I like this mascara, but it is just average.

Six Flags, and other stuff :)

Hey loves,

It has been a while since I posted, but not too long I hope :)
Hmm in the past 2 weeks, I went to six flags which I thought was super fun, theme parks are definitely a highlight of summer! However, on our trip to six flags...we had to bring david's little cousin along. I was glad and surprised at how brave he was! He rode all the rollercoasters we did, but I didn't really like to have to play babysitter... not that he needed much babysitting, but I just wanted it to be me & the boyfriend... -,-" oh wells, I guess my boyfriend likes playing babysitter.. weird. LOL and most importantly we all had fun, so its all good. My favorite ride..is probably medusa! it is the longest and biggest rollercoaster in the park. oh and just a word of advice- if you're going, avoid the ride "Roar" at all costs! It's a wooden rollercoaster= suuper bumpy and gave me a massive headache (and I felt really nauseous) that made the rest of the trip miserable (thankfully that was the last rollercoaster we rode ).
After rollercoasters, we went to the game area and babe won me a giraffe :D hehe..its so cute! We have yet to name it.

anyways in the past couple days I've decided I really want to set a goal to eat a lot of super healthy foods like more fruits/veggies and more working out(oh but I hate it soo) because I feel like the foods we eat really impact of course our health, but also things like our skin,hair,nails,etc. and working out ofcourse is good for our health, heart health, everythanggg :) I want to be more toned and stronger overall. Ahem, we'll see how much I stick with these "goals" of mine :P

Oh no.. school is starting in less than a month and that pretty much depresses me T_T. School has started for babe so we don't get to hang out everyday anymore T_T, boo.. but I guess we have to start getting used to not seeing each other every day, since when I get back to school we'll be seeing each other much less!

Anyways my days have not been very eventful... LOL lots of being lazy and shopping..eek.

Hey loves,

Two blog posts in one week? hehe, see? I'm really trying to keep my blogging thing going! Hopefully I'll take pics more regularly so I can post them up with each blog post..but my digital camera broke... so I'm stuck either using my ipod touch camera or my super big bulky old canon powershot..LOL. Planning to get a DSLR soon, but not sure which one to get yet, kind of leaning towards the canon t3i. If you guys ever had experience with dslr or have recommendations let me know~!
Anyways, so today was another really chill day. I went to my boyfriend's house and we just hung out :) Really relaxing. Once I sit on his bed, I'm like on his computer and I just never want to get up! LOL I told him I want to go out and do something, but when hes telling me to get up so we can go out, I feel too comfortable and lazy! hahah so we ended up not going anywhere and watching the movie "Bad Teacher" on his computer. It was an alright movie, not the best, but still cute.
Ooo! I also got my new mattress in the mail today, I like to deliver stuff to my boyfriend's house :) I am super excited to use it! It's to bring up to my college apartment. The mattress is from walmart, hehe I really like memory foam mattresses because I've slept in one before when I slept over at my cousins house and I fell in love! Hopefully this mattress will feel good..it has tons of good reviews on walmart.com, so I will let you guys know when I try it out tomorrow maybe.

Yay, tomorrow babe and I are going to six flags! I'm excited :D I love amusement parks- they are definitely something I look forward to in the summer. Will hopefully be able to take some pics tmr so I can post them up for you guys :D Alrighty loves, time for me to get ready for bed because I have to wake up early tomorrow!

What I've been up to lately :)

Hey loves,

I know I know, I've neglected you guys again ! :( I really REALLY will try to start blogging more this time, LOL I ALWAYS say that.. :P but you know I love you guys right? hehe
Lately I've been super busy, my family and I moved to a new place to live, so packing everything and moving was really time consuming- I never want to pack&move again...but I have to move to my apartment in September! -.-... at least it will be less stuff since it's only my stuff, but it'll still be a lot of stuff...because I don't like to be without my clothes and makeup! They are all my babies! LOL and I get depressed if I can't have all my clothes and makeup with me :( haha I know, I'm crazy.

Anyways, so my summer days consist of hanging out with my boyfriend mostly, chilling, eating, being lazy :P I've actually taken some random pictures over time that I've been meaning to upload but never got to it, so here is a collection of random pics I took with my itouch :D I might start blogging about my day, it seems really fun, we'll see how that goes :D

I'm obsessed with holographic nail polish!! <3 I want more more more :P This is the Color Club nail polish in the shade Fashion Addict. Gorgeous lavendar with holo sparkles.

Thought this was a cute coral color for summer. I think i have a new favorite color and its CORAL <3 Anyways, this is Rimmel-Sunny Side which is a coral color, and over it I put OPI- infatuation which is a creme pink - the mixture of the two = cute baby coral color.

OPI silver shatter over OPI do you lilac it :) loving the silver shatter, super shimmery and not as harsh as the solid colors-but very hard to remove.. lol

random ring I bought at forever21...super cheap its starting to lose color already and I only wore it twice. lol

awesome Japanese foods I bought at Genki :) left: green tea nestle chocolate-outside is milk choclate, inside is greentea chocolate with aerated bubbles. interesting. i like..Top right:oreo stuff. white chocolate sticks with oreo bits in it. delicious! Bottom right: oreos with green tea filling. the cookie part was soft like cake. interesting. LOL

My boyfriend likes to stick his head in sinks at Ikea. Absolutely adorable. LMAO look at how tiny the (bottom) sink is! haha... the top sink pic isnt as funny because the sink is bigger but funny none the less! He wanted to show me his head can fit into the little sink (bottom pic) LOL and thats how he washes his hair :P Then he decided he might as well go stick his head in the next sink we saw (see top pic)
I call it "sinking", the new and improved version of "planking".

Bebe Warehouse Sale!

I'll most likely be doing a HUGE haul video on the clothing I got, it would be REALLY long though, so do let me know if you want to see it and want to hear about my experience :)

So yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to go to the secret/exclusive Bebe warehouse sale in Benicia. This sale requires you to have wristbands to get in, and only Bebe corporate employees get a limited amount of them which they can give to friends and family. My cousin's fiance was nice enough to get a wristband for me and my sister at the same time frame! (every wristband has a different time like 3:30, 4:30, 10:00AM, etc.). I have been to warehouse sales in the past, but none where it was as crazy as this one!

My sister and I got there at around 3:14, and lined up in a long line to get into the building. I wouldn't say it was EXTREMELY long since everyone there was only the 3:30PM appointment people so thankfully it wouldnt be as crazy as if everyone went in at the same time- but still, it was a wholeee lot of women (and some men.... presumably boyfriends/husbands LOL). I really wish I took some pictures so I can show you guys! Once it was 3:30, we started moving in, I was really anxious, excited and scared at the same time.
-At the entrance, there give you a big clear plastic garbage bag. I took one look at the warehouse, it was about 1 or 3/4ths of a block long, 4 rows of tables, each had tons of boxes in it. No organization- nothing! You gotta dig and you gotta hurry because you only had 45 minutes, and then they'll start kicking you out aggressively. So I went to the first box I saw and starting digging like a mad woman, and the first shirt I thought looked ok, I threw it in the bag. No time to think or look at sizes- if you THINK it looks ok, just throw it in the bag girl! Whew, was that a workout! my sister and I were sweating like crazy, clothes were being thrown, there was a ton of people around, madness I tell ya. There are also accessories, shoes and handbags, but shoes are a lost cause because even if you find one shoe you'll never find the match to it. Handbags were scarce, I only saw one and it was damaged. There were a lot of size smalls and xs which is alright I can fit S, but I do wish there were more mediums- or maybe it was just the boxes I was looking in. I wish I could look in every box, but there are really just too many and I didn't have enough time. I continued plowing through as many boxes as I can, while in the background the employees are barking 15more minutes! 5 more minutes! 2 more minutes, and I'm dragging my super heavy and humongous garbage bag around! I was confused if we were supposed to sort what clothes we want and don't want before or after time was up- turns out, we have to sort before the time was up. I had a huge bag of clothes and I'm like oh no.... I don't want ALL OF THIS! and the employees are like time to go! no turning back! get in line! I frantically tried to sort the huge pile of clothing I had in my bag and managed to throw back some of the ones I didn't want, and even gave this girl a romper I didn't want but she liked a lot :)
Time to pay, they separate tops and dresses because they are priced differently and then added up my total, so how much did I end up getting?

23 shirts, 18 dresses, 1 belt, 3 skirts, 1 blazer
Yay :) I won't be shopping for the rest of the summer ( i hope.. ) or the rest of the year!
All this for less than $200!

-- However, I would say around 70% of the items I bought were damaged (the 30% that was undamged are samples, never been worn which is amazing, but as you can see, there weren't a lot of those that I found)- I don't mind this because it was so cheap and since I have a sewing machine and patience, I'm willing to fix up all the clothing myself. And some of the clothing weren't my size, like XXs! aiya, so I'm going to have to find a creative way to make those dresses bigger so they're fit-able.
For some people, this might not be their cup of tea. They might not want to buy damaged goods or find fixing clothing (like broken zippers, a tear, wrong size, etc.) too hard or expensive, so I would say this sale is not for everyone :) Hmm.. I have a lot of sewing set out for me... I should get to it soon! :) If I do do a haul video on this, the clothing will probably already be fixed up, but I'll indicated where it was damaged and stuff.
I'll also be selling like 2 -3 dresses from the sale that I really can't fit (and too lazy to make bigger), or I just think someone else would enjoy more. And I'm cleaning out my closet so get ready for a big summer sale at my online store: http://glamboutique.weebly.com

Dupe for the Naked Palette? N.Y.X. Nude on Nude

So I am pretty obsessed with the naked palette, initially I was like eh w/e neutral palette eh. but then I saw it in stores... and uh I kinda fell in LOVE!!! I finally placed my order on Sephora and got it because dammit- life is short! LOL ...and I'm a shopaholic :( Okay, no more makeup for a while for me...... cause I broke and that aint no joke. Ok ok ok getting on with my post here, I got the NYX nude on nude palette because it totally is a dupe/ reminds me of the Naked palette, and my lovely friend Alyssa has the naked palette so I used hers t compare to my N.Y.X. one. I got this palette from www.porkdaisy.com and thats a site that sells discounted NYX stuff.
-- In comparison, I do think the nude on nude looks kind of similar to the naked, there are some colors that look the same, but the nude on nude is lacking a couple key colors that I love from the naked palette- thus I had to get the naked palette ~ LOL. The colors I feel like were missing that I loved from the Naked palette is :
- Sin (Pretty light pink silvery shimmer color, though the nude on nude has a pink peachy color, its not the same!)
- Half Baked (gold) & Smog (coppery gold brown), though there is a coppery brown in there and a gold in the nude on nude, the copper is a bit too light, and the gold is too yellow.
- Toasted (brown with a hint of magenta tone in it) no color like this in the nude on nude
- Buck (matte warm dark/medium brown) no color like this in the nude on nude
* In terms of pigmentation, the nude on nude has good pigmentation, though not as soft as urban decay, but still very nice.
Overall, if you can't afford the naked, this would be a good replacement. It also has a bottom compartment that has lipglosses!! :) and its half the price of the Naked palette, but for me, I'd still want the naked... lol

Summer Trend: Orange Lipstick

Hey loves,

Just wanted to post a quick little post about a summer trend I'm loving right now: orange lipstick! I love it- well it looks more like a bright coral, but its a fun twist on the classic red :)
Bold, but not too bold, and can be mixed with pink to be a more soft coral color. ( i love coral!!!)
I'm wearing N.Y.X Round lipstick in Femme with E.L.F. 's studio minty glosses in San Diego.

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Review

I felt like blogging today! So a while back, I got the Hard candy glamoflauge concealer, and I never really did a review on it so I decided to do a quick one here today. It is $6 at walmart which is a super reasonable price, and its supposed to be a very good coverage concealer. I got it online at walmart and there was free shipping too.
I got it in the shade Medium (theres only 3 shades, light medium and dark or something like that) and since I'm an NC25 in MAC, people were saying medium would be a good match. I found it just a tad too dark for me and a tad too olive/yellow toned, so it doesn't exactly match my skin perfectly which disturbs me...
I'm not too happy with that but I'll continue giving it a try. The coverage is very good, the consistency varies. Some days its a kind of thick liquid creamy thing, which I like, and you just need really little or else it'll start looking cakey. Sometimes it comes out as really liquidy oily stuff, so I guess the formula kind of separates which REALLY ticks me off! >:O
Not sure if I should try the lighter shade, it might be too light for me :(
So although I'll keep using this, I definitely reach for my ELF studio concealer (the pencil one with a brush on the other end) which is still my current fave in concealers for acne/ acne scars. This concealer would also probably be good for dark eye circles, but I usually don't conceal my under eye circles because they don't bother me so much. So if I had to rate this I would give it 3 stars at the moment, because the shade doesn't match me and the consistency can be a bit oily sometimes.

--Have you guys ever tried this concealer? What do You think about it? :)

Swatch of concealer, and little pencil concealer that comes with it. See the oily-ness?! Theres like an oil halo around it or something- yuck.

Squeezed out a whole bunch to see if it'll ever become less oily. The middle of the blob is a nice consistency.

Hello yellow! Spread out on my hand, hello oily yellow stuff. Just kidding, if you rub it in, it'll get less oily, and it kind of soaks into your skin, weird I know, but I guess thats better than it looking oily like this all day.

Small Hello Kitty Necklace Haul

Hey lovelies,

I haven't blogged for a while! aiya, so sorry! :P I've been busy, like usual but I really want to try to blog more regularly! Serious!!!! I don't know if I should blog about my everyday life, or just blog when I have little hauls to show you guys. So how was my day like today? Woke up at 7:45AM which is way too early for me, I'm not the morning type... LOL, and had 3 classes, luckily in 2 of my classes we watched a movie, so it wasn't as boring as usual. Yup, quite a boring and typical day in the land of the cows.. hehehe...

On with my haul! Today in the mail, I got a nice little package- yay! The stuff I ordered from ebay, I ordered 3 hello kitty necklaces and I'm still waiting for one more, but I was so excited I decided to show you guys right away! <3 Love hello kitty, my obsession is tamed (for now) with these 3, and about to be 4 necklaces.. hehe. I love buying from ebay, they were quite cheap, about $2 each &free shipping.

I ♥ Nude Pumps!

Hope you all are doing well! I just wanted to blog about these nude pumps that my sister got me about a month ago. My sister and I were on a mad hunt for affordable nude pumps and we were VERY specific. They had to be a certain light shade of nude, they had to be almond toe, they had to have a small platform, they had to be under 4". I was seriously looking at countless online shoe websites for something like that- for under $40... and finally- I found some at target.com!! Tada, heres a link my fashionistas: Click me! Its called the Women's Mossimo® Black Versie Pumps - Natural Patent.
Although I really REALLY wanted it to look like the picture, I am obsessed with the blush nude color- it didn't look like that.... I know, its unfortunate. BUT I still liked it. It was definitely more yellow toned- a typical nude, I was a little disappointed, but I loved the shoe none the less. For $29.99, this baby is sleek, sexy, patent, and 3.75" high, with a small 1/2" platform. The color is more to the light side, thankfully it doesn't match my skin too much or that would look odd.. I think nude shoes are ESSENTIAL to any wardrobe. They not only go with basically any outfit, but they really elongate your legs, and they're very sophisticated/ classy. so to get them for $30, is pretty good. The quality is pretty decent, it looks very nice and doesn't look cheap, but my insoles are already lifting which makes me nervous. (Geez target, couldn't you use some stronger glue to glue your insoles inside atleast!)Also, my sister's pair (she got one too) had one small part of the shoe that was not shiney- perhaps the patent got scratched off when she received them, and my pair had a small part of the patent scratched off in the back of the heel (revealing a white under). Maybe target should package/handle their shoes better!! Anyways, besides the minor stuff, I still love it! Heres some pictures of the shoes :)

Relationships: How to Deal with Arguments

So this blog is going to be a little different from my usual beauty blog entries. Today I'm going to be talking about relationships. Now, every once in a while we may have arguments with our boyfriend or girlfriend and it can feel like just the worst feeling in the world. Here's some tips from my own personal experience that I found helpful and beneficial to maintaining a strong & healthy relationship <3
- Think before you act: During an argument, we might feel really heated up and mad >:[ (well ofcourse, we're arguing and we ARE mad) and sometimes you just want to cuss them out or you just want to slap them- but you know you'll regret it if you really do say something you don't mean! that can lead to more problems and bad consequences- so take a second, try to breathe, and think about what it is that is really making you upset.
- Breathe. sometimes when arguing, you just need to take a break from it- to reflect. maybe take a walk or listen to music, something calming, so go ahead blast your emo music. emo songs I like to blast : Haru Haru- Big Bang, Wedding Dress- Tae yang, Wedding Dress [English]- tommy C, Mad- Neyo, Love the way you Lie- Eminem, Koe wo Kikasete- Big Bang, Take it Slow- Taeyang.
so that when you're ready, you can go back and tell your man how you feel- in a mature and calm way.
-Think about both sides of the argument: now, we might want to think we're always right, especially when we're mad, we get even more defensive. but truth is, sometimes, we're not always right and we let our stubbornness and pride get in the way. try to think about both sides, not only your own. were you being unfair? you want him to listen to what you say, so do the same for him. its always nice to try to make a compromise so everyone is happy :] if you did do something wrong, its okay to admit it, but also let him know how you feel, since you feel hurt and mad as well. perhaps something like: "I understand how you feel, and I'm sorry that I do this _______________. but it also hurts me/makes me mad when you do this ___ because___"
- Talk it out: personally, I think it is really important for my significant other to know how I feel. sometimes they really might just not understand why you're mad and they just brush you off, which leads to a bigger argument. its not good to bottle up all your feelings. if something is bothering you, let him know, but try not to just yell at him or accuse him(because he might start getting all defensive), try to start sentences with "I feel hurt when you...." or "It makes me mad/sad when you..." relate the problem to yourself- not just "you always cuss at me! whats your prob! ". when you relate it back to yourself, you're showing him how it affects your feelings and it may make him understand more, because he does care about your feelings and should be willing to listen. perhaps it may take a little bit for both of you to cool down, but when you feel ready, you can ask him if you guys can "talk it out/ make a compromise in a calm and mature way" because both halves of the relationship should be willing to make things work
- Think about the problem: is it a really big and important problem? or is it just a petty little problem? when we're mad, sometimes we tend to blow things way out of proportion and just let a small little thing bother us. sometimes I get mad at my bf for saying certain things, like name-calling- which in my opinion is a small petty problem. I only get mad because of my stubbornness and my pride, and I just want to be right and hear him say 'sorry'. (at the time when I was mad) i know, it sounds terrible right? me- staying angry, for a terrible reason of just wanting to hear him say sorry&saving my pride? try to not let small petty problems get you mad, its hard- i know. but feeling angry and irritated is just not worth it!
but if it is a big problem, and it really bothers you&hurts you, like if he said/did something really shady- LET HIM KNOW! and if hes not willing to listen to how you feel or try to work it out, it may be time to get a new man!
-Think about the next day: a lot of times, if you have small little arguments, the next day you two will probably wake up and act like nothing happened! or say : omg that was such a stupid argument! knowing that tomorrow will be a fresh new day might calm you down and take your mind off what ever is irritating you. (or if it was a big argument, tomorrow will be a day to solve those problems and work it out ;] )
- Think about the positive traits of the person you're with: when we're mad, we can sometimes feel like- you're arguing with a whole different person. you're so mad that you think they are just terrible, mean, etc. BUT in the process of reflecting, think about the good traits of your man- i know, its hard too! this will remind you of how much you love him and what he's done to make you happy, and may prevent you from saying more mean things or getting more mad. this might even make you stop being mad at all :]
--but if the bad traits outweigh the good, you may want to reconsider if this relationship is healthy.

Chill Day with my bestfriend! :]

Hey loves,

So today, my best friend Ally and I (and my dad! lol) went to chinatown& we bought some groceries/snacks. Then we went to my house and cooked food because ally wanted to make "delicious food" LOL. We made burgers with ketchup, pepper jack cheese, and slices of cucumber- yum! Then after that we watched one episode of Weeds, ally said "this show is wrong on so many levels~! " and I found it quite oddly entertaining. After that, ally suggested we take some pictures for our online store (Glam Boutique) outside in my backyard, it was super fun and silly, but we got some nice pictures :] Tomorrow we're going to do another photo shoot re-take in our prom dresses outside because the outdoor scenery is so much lovelier than indoors :]

I can not believe how lazy I am ! I haven't blogged in forever like usual - sorry for neglecting you guys I'm going to try to blog more often! Like atleast once a week! maybe i dont blog that much because i like to include pics in my blog posts and I dont take so many pictures, but anyways, just wanted to update you guys on what I have been doing lately... which isn't really much :P
I'm training people to replace me in my position at work because I wont be able to work there anymore when I go to school! ( i tutor kids) sigh i'm going to miss those kids! although at times they drive me nuts. boy is teaching someone how to do my job challenging! its like I am really um- paranoid and try to make sure they know every little detail haha- anyways i thought today would be my last day at work but im really happy because my boss asked me to work weds&sats for the rest of the summer I have b4 i leave for college! I'm really happy about that because 1. I really need the income & 2. Working with the kids makes me feel like i'm making a difference&doing something productive! :D plus i'll have a bit more time to give my trainee some more pointers so she won't be as confused (and confuse the kids) when i'm gone :] which will be fun! Other than work.. i've just been hanging out with the boyfriend <3 watching movies, napping, and going out to eat :] I've done some shopping too - ^^
--OMG i almost forgot! I watched Wicked (the musical performance) it was SO good! really amazing I loved it, in the beginning, me&hunnie thought the performers were lip-syncing but we realized they were actually singing, SO talented, its amazing. i mean how do they sing SO well AND dance, at the same time without getting breathless ? it amazes me. lol my favorite character was ofcourse Glinda, with all her beautiful gowns/dresses, some were really over the top& sparkly and puffy which i LOVE! :P

Ooo, on friday my sister & i are going shopping yayyy, i <3 shopping! do i feel a haul video coming up soon? hehe oh yea btw, i'm planning to make a back to school fashion video series & opi nail polish swatches series , so stay tuned for that on my youtube page <3

My Summer so Far :D

I havent blogged in a while! I know I'm neglecting you guys <3 :[ So I decided to update you on my summer so far and what I have been doing. I havent been doing anything big really, just relaxing, working, shopping, and hanging out with my boyfriend like almost every day and soaking up every single minute of it because when I go off to college i might not see him for weeks! T_T oh the agony!

In june, bf& I went to six flags discovery kingdom & got season passes :P weee hope we go more than once! LOL we better... make our money's worth :] it was fun i <3 theme parks!

This cutie kept looking at me! i stuck my camera in to take this pic n then the person on the mic was like " please keep hands and cameras outside" :D Teehee!
" You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours!" or maybe: Penguin1 "can I hold your hand?" Penguin2 "Hmmm... let me think about it!"

Hmm okay so the other week, I went to stinson beach for a bbq with my co-workers and it was super fun!! it was soo foggy in the morning which made me freak out, but as my friends assured, the weather cleared up by noon and it was soo sunny and nice! the food was good, esp. the porkchops my boyfriend brought to the bbq from his uncle :] YUM! We went to play on the beach and had a water fight, hes lucky i was in a swimsuit or else i'd be so mad! LOL and we made our first sand castle everrr together! it was kinda hard, and took us a really long time maybe like 1hr+! i got a sunburn on my back -_- i never get burns cause i apply sunscreen religiously, but i think my hunnie missed some spots. GRR. what a butt.

OMG guys, i've been shopping like crazy lately, and i really need to stop because im going to be a broke college student soon! i feel another haul video coming up :P hehe.

This weekend i'm going to be going to my college's freshman orientation - its going to last 3 whole days.. intense. intimidating. boring sounding. LOL I'll update on that too! Too bad i dont think i'll be able to take pictures because i let ally borrow my cam :T

More Gel Nails!!

Hey loves,

Yesterday I did my nails! Theyre my favorite nails that I've done so far :] so i used some purple/lavender glitter gel and made it fade into a gradient, then added some hot pink metal roses and swarovski bling all over! :D <3

ALSO, yesterday was a pretty busy day! I helped my friends angela&michelle do their make up n hair for prom :] they looked beautiful! and then after that I had to get ready myself! I got all dressed up and had to rush out the house because my boyfriend, his cousin and oour friend linda was waiting outside my house. My boyfriend's cousin drove us all around and Linda helped me&my boyfriend take pictures with her professional camera! shes so good <3 I loved our photoshoot! We went all around the city and took pics at scenic places, i'll upload some pics when linda sends me them, i'm really excited to see them all! Heres one of them:

NYX Candy Glitter Liners & Summer Trip!

Today i had work! yuck, but after work my hunnie picked me up and we went to get me some glitter liners wooooo, i wanted a hot pink one for my prom look so yeaaa ^^ hehe and i fell in love with two other colors too! I heard good reviews for these liners so i wanted to try them out for myself :P and i loveee them, glitter is so much fun and so pretty! i love sparkly things :] and we also went to this japanese store called Genki, and i wanted to try out this brand of hair dye called "Palty", its esp. formulated for dark haired ppl (like asians) like MEE! i never could get my hair the shade of light brown that i want! but i'm hoping Palty will give me a nice color, I didn't buy it yet because that store didnt have so many color choices, so i'm going to try another japanese store like ichibankan or something :]

I'm soooooo soooo excited for my L.A. trip with my love and his friends ! we're going to go to magic mountain, disney land, san diego zoo& universal studios! i haven't been to magic mountain or san diego zoo b4 and havent been to the other places for soooo long so i'm really pumped to go, plus i think it'll be a way for me to finally relax and celebrate graduating high school :] i never went on vacation with my boyfriend before so i'm also really excited for that :] maybe i can film some stuff while i'm down on vacation so you guys can see, but his friends might think i'm nuts ! haha :P

Colored Contacts/ Circle Lenses!

Hey loves,

So recently I got some colored contacts because I really wanted to see how different eye colors looked on me! So i got some from : D' Beauty Shop
The first time I put them on, I freaked out, my eye felt like there was a humongo eyelash in it n it was painful, so i quickly took it out (note that i never wore contacts in my life before!) Then the second time i was more courageous and left the contact in my eye, blinked and teared up for a couple seconds and the pain was gone :] so its really just a habit of getting used to the feeling. Also i make sure i clean the lenses everytime i wear them and wash my hands before i put my contacts on because i don't want to risk an eye infection! :P
All in all, i really like these color contacts! they are sooo pretty and really enhances my eyes <3 yayyy now which one to wear to prom? LOL i want to wear purple ones for sure but i just dont know which pair :]

Lacey Peach Acrylic Nail Design :]

Hey loves,

I haven't posted a blog in what it feels like a million years! :P Well today I was just relaxing and home, and looking at the blogger: Cynful Nail's pictures I was just itching to do acrylic or gel nails! :P soo i decided to use my handy plastic finger so that I wouldn't have to do a full acrylic set on myself ^^ Here are some pics hehe

The original nail of this plastic finger was soo dingy&short (like my natural nails! LOL ), I added an artificial tip with acrylic overlay over it :D So fun!! had to file a lot and dang do acrylics smell strong! I love doing acrylics, but I think I like gel better because its shinier and I get to use my uv lamp muahaha

Decided to paint on this gorgeous metallic peachy color: OPI- Cosmo Not Tonight Honey!

Decided to add some real lace on it :D the lace has some silver threading which is oh so pretty ^^

Finished look! I added some heart confetti thingys and put them together in the shape of bows :] I <3 bows, they are adorable

This is what happens when I'm bored at home, I still have the urge to do a real persons nails! :P Now I can just remove the nail polish and use that nail to try out different designs since nail designs look soo nice on such long nails ^^ haha its sooo fun to me, idk

-- Lets update you on my life :] well, i definitely have major senioritis= super lazy+ procrastinating when it comes to school work :P I'm really excited for prom, I'm still thinking of a nail design in my head, perhaps I can try it in my nail client: Ms.Plastic Finger? :] haha and a makeup look, ofcourse i'll be updating you guys if i ever decide on what makeup look to do..what else? work is tiring as usual... ahhh i'm so ready to graduate, but i think i'll actually miss high school (maybe). I hope college will be okay, scared to enter this new life- college, dorming, away from home! But I'm going to be positive about it and i'm sure it'll be a positive experience. Romantic Lace Nails and Wisdom Teeth Surgery

Its been a while since I've blogged! It spring break yayy and yesterday I just had 2 of my wisdom teeth extracted :[ It was scarey but my doctor was super nice and it did not hurt until after. Pain killers are my friend :P LOL I'm trying to- as my boyfriend calls it "man up", and not take pain killers but eventually I just take them -_-" Its miserable I tell ya, I'm all swollen and such but I'm glad I got it over with, my boyfriend is being super supportive and making me feel better :P

So the other day I did a tutorial on this nail design:

My Best friend's birthday party

Once again, I am procrastinating doing my english essay :P sooo i decided to make a new post! On sunday 2/28, it was my bestfriend Ally's birthday and she has a potluck birthday party at her house :P It was fun we ate guacamole, spaghetti, chicken, lumpia, and ice creamm! yum, and we played games like Apples to Apples, Quelf, and Monopoly Deal something i forgot the name but its not the same as regular monopoly :P i really liked it, i usually hate board games or card games but yea i got addicted ^^ I got her this as her present :

The too faced glamour to go lll palette! :D I super love love love it and I got one for myself as well, I'll put both this one and the one below in one of my Favorites videos soon :P These shadows are all raelly shimmery and like in a way almost glittery, i love how there is a bright purple color and a navy blue but theres also neutral colors like that beautiful taupe color and a really nice brownish/plum. The blush as you guys can see is brighter and darker pink than the palette below.

I also got myself a Too faced glamour to go ll palette too hehehe :] I'm addicted to these convenient little palettes! This one is less shimmery, its more like satin finish, and has more neutral colors :]

My valentines day :]

Hey guys,

Since I'm totally procrastinating on my homeowork... I'll tell you about my valentines day! So on Feb 13th me& david, my boyfriend celebrated valentines day!
I got up and got ready- I wore a dark navy blue strapless lace dress (its in my valentines/date outfits video if you're curious) did my makeup (a smokey dark pink eyeshadow look over a dark grey base- makes the cutest purple shade EVER) and even had time to curl my hair and do a tutorial on it! LOL it was like 11ish almost 12 noon and my sleepyhead FINALLY woke up. aiya. we met up and surprisingly he got to the restaurant before me. I remmber so clearly I was standing across the street from the restaurant (mayb because it was jus yesterday) he was sitting inside and I could see him through the big glass window of the restaurant. he was looking at something else, it was the tv ~ and then he sees me and smiles. oh i could've melted right there. LOL , so we ate sushi YUM~~~!! requested by me because i was craving it!
I was staring at him and this interesting feeling that I occasionally feel hits me.
Its this feeling that's hard to explain. I think its probably extreme appreciation, happiness, love, and awe.
In my mind I keep saying to myself " wow, I cant believe he is my boyfriend. someone in this world loves me like I love them. sitting right there, across from me, is a man who i can share my experiences, thoughts,secrets,dreams-everything with. "
I think love is a wonderful thing. When you're with the right person its so magical, I just look at him and can't believe hes mine.

Hey loves,

I'm so excited for tomorrow! my boyfriend and I are going to hang out for valentines day because we cant on sunday (its chinese new years) -_-" i know. but its ok! atleast we get to see each other tomorrow! we dont really have plans, just going to watch a movie , have lunch, chill, shopping? i have no idea :T

sooo i didnt get him a gift. and he said he didnt get me on either. no biggie :]
its okay, but i AM a girl and I DO dream... sighhh sometimes i wish he would do those crazy romantic gestures like surprising me with a big bouquet of flowers or writing me a million love letters just in time for valentines day or something! i tell myself its all materialistic/corny junk but deep inside... we all wish...lol but at the same time i dont do those crazy things for him too :P so i guess we're even. ofcourse he treats me SO well always i guess its ok that he doesnt do those stuff cause everything he does/says everyday makes me so appreciative of him and love him so much <3 one day i'll do something super sweet for him, like write him a million love letters (ok maybe not a million :P ) and i'm definitely going to bake him a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting SOON! its my goal, and its delicious! we love it ^^ i wish tomorrow he would take me to somewhere scenic and beautiful and surprise me..my heart hurts just thinking about it, because i know it wont happen :'[

Anyways, ofcourse I wanted my nails to look sexy for our vday celebration SO i got super inspired by Purse Buzz's video - a Ke$ha tik tok inspired nail look! its soo glamorous and sexy i absolutely ADORE IT! makes me feel like a superstar ^^ it was surprisingly reallly easy to do and I did a nail tutorial on it so watch out for that guys! so here are some pics of the nails that i did and oh so love <3

PROM DRESS!

Hey guys,

So today i bought my prom dress! online! ...welll actually my boyfriend bought it for me :P
Its a gorgeous jessica mcclintock gown that is fuschia <3 oh how i love it so! i've seen it in person in gold and I thought it looked like belle's dress from beauty and the beast :P But I found it on line and i had to get it! I'm really excited to get it in the mail and try it on, and i'll definately take more pics to show you guys !

....but I dont know if another dress might just catch my eye! i know this red dress i've tried on i really fell in love with, but PINK~ i love it. i really hope it looks good on me :T
we will see...but for now, this is my princess gown :] <3

My Cousins Wedding :D

Hey guys,

Yesterday I went to my cousin, Chi's wedding and I just wanted to show you my dress and makeup for that day :] It was really fun, and my auntie who was the MC is always so hilarious and good at entertaining us. She would make the bride and groom play games but too bad the bride was really shy and did not really seem to enthusiastic about playing the games but she went along with it :] Also she knows how to sing, her voice is so cute and she brought a long a guy singer whose voice is quite nice as well, he was supposed to translate the chinese she says to english but he was pretty bad at it LOL :P

Oh weddings, it makes me dream of own wedding!! LOL i love weddings :] I wonder how mine will be like... I want it to be really nice and pretty! and take a lot of pretty pictures with like 4 photographers following us around... but i know i'll be enthusiastic for sure and sing some karaoke for my guest :P hehehe...

OPI nail polishes and ZOYA!

Hey guys,

Today my boyfriend and I went to see the movie : The Spy Next Door! I thought it would be really corny and boring but it was actually hilarious. I love Jackie Chan. LOL
We went to my OPI store (thats wht I call the beauty supply store I go to because thats where I get all my OPI nail polishes and other polishes too :D ) and I saw they have ZOYA nail polishes now! I was so excited because I've heard of Zoya but never purchased it because the OPI store didn't sell them. I was soo happy but too bad they didnt have any Zoya nail polishes from their Matte collection, I wanted to try matte nailpolishes but oh welll its okay.

Gel Nails!

Hey guys,

So last night I tried doing gel nails for the first time !! :D 3 hours of doing my nails and finally i'm satisfied with my results. It takes a lot of time, patience and precision but I like gel nails a lot more than acrylics just because they're shinier, last longer, and easier to fix if you make a mistake (since acrylics will dry fairly quickly, but gel nails are manageable because the consistency is a bit like honey and it levels and smooths out pretty well , they wont harden until you put them under the UV lamp.) I decided to do a multi-glitter tip with some bling and flower stickers :] I've had gel nails done on me before and I know they last like 1month+, its crazy. ;D its my one year anniversary and I wanted to make my nails nice, plus all the supplies were part of my early anniversary present from my boyfriend ;D the nail stickers&gel were given to my by the company to review, and I like them soooo much !

christmas is coming!

Hey guys,

Yay, my table looks a lot more festive now :] I got a bit teary when I thought that I had no christmas tree to decorate but my boyfriend decided to buy me this mini desktop tree ;D at borders (and my hello kitty coin bank) . hehe and they sell mini ornaments and beaded links too! when he saw that it was pink and metallic- he knew I would love it, plus i was right there with this expression " :O! " on my face, HAHA.
I hope everyone is doing well, my orthodontist says I will be able to get my braces off around Feb-March! I'm so excited! I've been shopping shopping shopping lately, and going clothes and makeup crazy :X, I'm going to try out MAC and Urban Decay - finally some high end brand make up, but still they are sooo expensive...

Haven't Made a new Post in a While...

I know I haven't blogged in a while...yawn life has just been so busy lately, its crazy :[ College applications and SAT has taken over my life but thank god its all over now! :] time to wait and see if I get accepted ^^ omg i have to take out my wisdom teeth! like mayb over winter break :[

anyways.. I'll try to post more blogs up soon! Its going to be me& my boyfriend's one year anniversary on 12/24! so i'll definitely post up some pictures of that day and (hopefully) a video too! but my bf is shy... or so he says- LOL

also -- coming up i'm going to have a mac haul, OPI nail polish haul, and gel nails haul and maybe i'll post up some pictures of that like swatches, possibly :] Also wanna do a haul on the presents me&my boyfriend get eachother :D heheh i've already bought one present but i'm waiting for it to be delivered so i'll take some pics or something when I get it ! okay i'll update more laterrr

Mini Haul

Hey guys <3 ,

So today was a typical boring day at school :[ i fell asleep in my physio class for like 10 minutes and i swear i like drooled on myself or something! good thing no one saw^^ LOL anyways, after that i went DT with chen ally and we got our A-list gift, it was cute ;] then i went to my favorite little variety shop on clement that sells some of the awesome-est make up, eyelashes, nail stuff, jewelery etc. I wanted to show you guys what i bought :] my total was about $20 (including the socks and stickers my boyfriend wanted LOL -not included in picture) :P

some clear nail rhinestones :] i can never get enough!

i love these cute earrings, they look so classy& expensive (but they were totally not expensive :P) bring on the bling!

these reminded me of seastars!!! and i love the rainbowy rhinestones all over it ! too cute :]

i love pink, i love flowers, and i love rhinestones!

i'm starting to get into false lashes now, i love them since i dont like wearing mascara too much because its too hard to remove, so false lashes make me feel glamorous ;]
